01What information should I provide for a freight quote?

Provide the shipment mode, origin, destination, pieces, package type, gross weight and unit, dimensions, commodity, requested timing, service requested, and any known references or Incoterm.

02Do you coordinate both air and ocean freight?

Yes. Unicorn Freight presents air and ocean freight coordination services. Availability, routing, timing, and scope are confirmed for the actual shipment.

03What is the difference between a MAWB and HAWB?

A MAWB is the master air waybill reference and a HAWB is the house air waybill reference. Provide each separately when available.

04What is the difference between a MBL and HBL?

A MBL is the master bill of lading and a HBL is the house bill of lading for ocean freight. They should remain distinct references.

05Can I track a shipment on this website?

Yes. The Tracking page can open official USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL Express, and selected airline cargo tracking services. Unicorn Freight does not receive or store the reference. UFIMS and Unicorn Freight operational tracking are not yet public.

06How do I request a current Unicorn Freight shipment update?

Use the verified public email address or phone number and provide the available MAWB, HAWB, MBL, HBL, container, booking, or Unicorn Freight reference. The public carrier directory is not connected to UFIMS or an internal shipment portal.

07What customs information may be required?

Requirements vary, but shipment references, parties, commodity descriptions, values, origin information, invoices, packing information, and other supporting documents may be relevant. The applicable requirements must be reviewed for the shipment.

08Does website content constitute customs or legal advice?

No. Website content is general service information and does not replace advice from authorities or appropriately authorized professionals.

09What does IOR / EOR mean?

IOR means Importer of Record and EOR means Exporter of Record. Responsibilities, eligibility, documents, and service acceptance must be confirmed for each shipment.

10What is a commercial invoice?

A commercial invoice commonly records seller, buyer, goods, quantities, values, currency, and commercial terms. The required content depends on the shipment and applicable requirements.

11Why is a packing list important?

A packing list can describe packages, pieces, item quantities, weights, dimensions, and package identifiers. It should be consistent with the actual shipment and related documents.

12Can I upload documents through the website?

No. Secure Document Upload is Coming Soon and is disabled. Confirm document requirements and the approved delivery method directly with Unicorn Freight.

13Can every type of cargo be accepted?

No acceptance is implied by the website. Hazardous, restricted, perishable, high-value, oversize, controlled, or unusual cargo requires separate review and may not be accepted.

14How should I provide shipment weight?

Provide the numeric weight and the original unit, such as KG or LBS. Do not assume a conversion, and keep gross and chargeable weight separate when both are known.

15What dimensions should I provide?

Provide the length, width, height, unit, package count, and package type when available. Pallet and carton configuration can affect handling and equipment planning.

16Can warehouse receiving be partial?

A shipment may arrive in multiple approved receipts. Actual received pieces should be recorded separately from the documented shipment total.

17Is the consignee always the final-delivery location?

No. The final-delivery company, address, and contact may differ from the freight consignee and should be provided separately.

18Can a delivery be partial?

Operationally, a partial delivery may be recorded when approved and when sufficient received cargo is available. The result and remaining quantity should stay visible.

19What is proof of delivery?

Proof of delivery records the delivery outcome and available acceptance information, such as recipient details, signatures, timestamp, remarks, GPS, or photos when supported.

20What do DAP and DDP mean?

DAP and DDP are Incoterms that allocate responsibilities differently between seller and buyer. The actual commercial terms and service responsibilities must be confirmed for the shipment.

21Can Unicorn Freight guarantee transit or delivery time?

No website description guarantees transit, release, or delivery timing. Timing depends on carriers, documents, authorities, cargo readiness, access, weather, and the accepted service scope.

22What should I do if cargo is damaged or short?

Record the condition and quantity promptly, preserve relevant documents and photographs, and contact Unicorn Freight with the shipment reference. Claim rights and deadlines may depend on the carrier and applicable terms.

23Can I pay online?

No. Online Payment is Coming Soon and is disabled. Verify payment instructions directly with Unicorn Freight and never email payment-card information.

24How do I contact the correct department?

Use the department routing options on the Contact page. All public email routes currently use the verified support address with a department-specific subject.
